I’ve had a great week in Switzerland. Ostensibly invited out by the renowned international school, Aiglon College I managed to sneak in a bit of climbing in Zermatt. However it was the 3 days in Villars-sue-Ollon with the team at Aiglon that I will remember, not to mention the kids; all nice and polite and excellent athletes. I had the opportunity to work with the coaching staff and many up and coming young stars to introduce the concept of injury screening and physiological monitoring. Seemed very well received. And what a location and a school; perched at 1300m with Mont Blanc as a view which clearly inspired the volleyball teams to continue their unbeaten record with some thrilling games
as they hosted the next round of the inter college tournament. Thanks Aiglon and especially Louise (unofficial mentor, legend and all round ace person) and Twidd, Mike, Sarah, Tim, Liam, Dion, Mich, Leah and Chris the deputy head. Not to mention all the others and the great kids who agreed to take part. Cheers all
